The Warrior

From an early age, Androcles Xenik learned the only person he could rely on was himself. He’s taken on that motto and he’s lived it since then. Son of Hephaistos and Nemesis by way of an affair, Androcles Xenik is one of the few Beings to spring from the direct lineage of Hera and the insatiable Zeus. Although some still question whether his father was borne of the king and queen or was solely formed from Hera’s jealous desire to have a child (after learning of her husband’s tryst with Metis), Androcles isn’t bothered by rumor.

Following Ares’ disastrous attempt to prep him for the agoge, Androcles and his father’s relationship has remained strained. At age eleven, he moved into his father’s lesser-used forge on the island of Lemnos and resides there alone.

Not much is known about this vile yet private young man. But his sole goal in life seems to be taunting his cousin, Kaltagonus Smythe, to the point of frustration and/or violence. While Kaltagonus believes his reasons are solely to rile him and cause him misery, Androcles’ excuse is much more profound and tragic than Kaltagonus knows. And not even Androcles’ closest acquaintances are privy to this information.

Icarus Inigo is the soul of Delphi House. Charming, charismatic, and funny, he is no doubt the life of the party. Better yet, he’s a loyal friend. Unless, of course, you act in a way he disagrees with. Just ask Androcles Xenik: his sole act of threatening their cousin Kaltagonus on his first day at Academy lost him a loyal friend and ally in Icarus. And thus was the quickest way to get on Icarus’ bad side. Mess with his friends, and you’ll discover the Being of Hope sure can hold a grudge.

With a heart as big as the sky, it’s unsurprising that Icarus has an abundance of friends who also happen to be his cousins. Despite being such a dynamic young man, Icarus hasn’t had much luck in romance. A string of girlfriends and passing acquaintances hasn’t turned up a suitable life-partner, but he’s young with many prospects. Only the one person he truly connects with is already taken.

For now.

But Icarus will continue to do what he does best: wreaking havoc with his best mates and living every day like it’s his last. Especially now, since the war’s becoming very unpredictable. He’s out to make his last year memorable for friends and family, even in these Dark times. That’s what the Being of Hope is all about.
